Costco is adding wedding gowns to its list of products, thanks to designer Kirstie Kelly.

"Costco is all about the savvy consumer, we'll all about the savvy bride," Kirstie said.

And any bride would agree that the prices are also savvy. These couture-inspired gowns range from $699 to just shy of $1,400, and from ballrooms to the beach, Kirstie says there's a dress for almost every kind of wedding.

Twenty-one-year-old Alyssa Wakefield is getting married next year, and thanks to Costco she may have found the dress of her dreams.

"These are gorgeous and they are so inexpensive. I don't have to feed my guests dog food," she said.

The gowns range from sizes two to 24 and come in a variety of fabrics, including satin, lace and silk organza.

"When I say hand-ruched, all the of the detailing done by hand, which is pretty phenomenal considering the price point on this gown is $699," Kirstie said.

The bride doesn't have a choice in color -- all of the dresses are made in "soft white", but they can pick from different veils, customize the train, and Kirstie says San Diego brides are welcome to bring their gowns to her Los Angeles boutique for alterations.

"I feel like for brides to be able to purchase something and be able to think about the life they are starting to plan as opposed to spending all of their money on their wedding, that's what's really special," she said.
